MY HOUSE

2 - 4 players

Contains 36 playing cards

ages 4 and up

1 die

A simple numbers game that helps to strengthen observation and memory skills.

Instructions

The four complete house cards are taken from the pack and each player is dealt a house card. This shows the player which special house he* has to collect.

All the other cards are shuffled and placed face down, with the numbers showing, in the centre of the playing area. The youngest player starts by rolling the die. The player must match the die with one of the cards and turn it over. If the card fits the player's house, he can keep it. If the card is part of another house, it must be put back in the centre, face down.

Players take it in turn to roll the die and collect cards. Players should try to remember each card's number and its position - it may be useful on their next turn.

The winner is the first person to complete his house.

Note: If there are less than four players, remove one or two of

the houses accordingly.

*To avoid the cumbersome "he or she", "his or her" and so on, "he" is used throughout.

The game is of course equally suited to boys and girls.
